I had no idea where my lost super was or the names of the funds. I just new it was scattered everywhere and I should definitely have more than $3,000 in my super. Australian Super Finder found all 7 of my funds and now my balance is almost $50,000. Thank you so much for getting my super back on track. ? Leonie, Thomastown VIC

Super Facts and Tips

Submitting and Processing your Super Application

Before submitting your application, carefully check the information as they can't be altered once you've decided to submit the application.

Once you submit your application/s, an email that confirms the info in the application will be delivered to the email add you put in your application. Furthermore, the ATO and your super provider will be informed that the application you submitted is now available for processing.

Processing The Application

The ATO and your super provider(s) will enter this system so as to process the application you passed. In some instances, they may have to get in touch with you to confirm the info you've provided or to ask for further info. Usually, a cheque will be sent to you via mail within four weeks of your provider(s) getting the info they need.

If your super benefits have been redirected to the ATO or another super provider, or if the provider declines your application, you'll be notified via email.

Checking Progress

You should contact your super provider directly so as to check your DASP application's progress as well as the ATO's of any held applications for monies. Though you can re-enter this scheme and check applications you've submitted, there's no indication regarding whether or not the application you submitted has been processed.

Returning To The System

Whenever you re-enter the system, you'll be asked to supply your personal information again and to provide your answer to the question you chose the very first time. You should provide just the same TFN, name, passport as well as birth date whenever you enter the system.

Once you re-enter this system, you'll be able to make new applications as well as update any applications you've saved and haven't submitted. You'll be able to look at, but not alter, any applications submitted already to your super provider(s). Moreover, you may update your contact information, (email, telephone and postal).
